What is OPENDSR?

OPENDSR stands for Open Platform for Empathy-led Navigation, Design Standards & Real-time Intelligence. It is not another tool, app, or buzzword. It is a practical, human-first framework that organizations can adopt to continuously improve employee experience in a structured way.

At its heart, OPENDSR is an operating system for employee experience (EX). It helps leaders, managers, and HR teams move beyond fragmented efforts like annual surveys or isolated initiatives, and instead build a repeatable cycle of observing, prioritizing, designing, and refining workplace experiences.

By combining empathy with structure, OPENDSR ensures that organizations don’t just “listen” to employees but act quickly and consistently to make work better every day.

Why We Built It

The reality of work today is that employees often feel unheard, unsupported, or frustrated—even in organizations that claim people are their greatest asset. Managers want to do better but lack a clear playbook. HR teams collect mountains of survey data but struggle to turn it into meaningful, daily improvements. Shweta Kelkar – A design strategist specializing in human-centered organizational change. Shweta ensures OPENDSR is rooted in empathy, inclusivity, and design discipline, turning big ideas into repeatable daily practices.

Together, Amol and Shweta built OPENDSR to bridge people and technology, making employee experience a discipline every organization can practice—open, human, and real.
