2) Scope

This Policy applies to:

Site visitors and logged-in learners

Individuals registering for courses, certifications, exams, events, or newsletters

Instructors, proctors, and partners using our platform

It does not cover third-party websites, apps, or services we do not control.

3) Information we collect


A. Information you provide directly

Account/Profile: name, email, password, phone (optional), country/region, organization, job title/role, interests, profile photo (optional).

Learning & Certification: course enrollments, progress, quiz/exam results, assignments, feedback, issued certificates/badges and verification logs.

Communications: support requests, survey responses, forum posts/comments (if enabled), testimonials.

Transactions: billing name, billing address, tax info. (We do not store full card numbers; payments are processed by our providers.)

Identity/Exam (if applicable): government ID images, live photo, audio/video recordings, screen capture and proctoring data (with notice/consent).

B. Information collected automatically

Usage & Device: IP address, device identifiers, browser/OS, language, time zone, referring pages, pages viewed, links clicked, session timestamps, error logs.

Cookies/Local Storage/SDKs: for login/session, preferences, analytics, performance, security, and (with consent) marketing.

Media Delivery Metrics: video watch time, buffering, playback events, to improve learning performance.

C. Information from third parties

SSO/Social Login (if enabled): basic profile data (e.g., name, email, avatar), per your consent.

Payment Processors: payment confirmation, status, limited transaction metadata.

Partners/Referrals: campaign attribution when you enroll via a partner link.

Partners (if you enrolled via them): limited enrollment and completion data to administer entitlements.

Legal/Compliance: to comply with law or protect rights, safety, and security.

Corporate transactions: mergers, acquisitions, or asset transfers with equivalent protections.

 

7) International transfers

Data may be processed in India, the United States, and other locations. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses, contractual and technical controls) to protect your information across borders.

 

8) Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law:

Account data: active account + up to 24 months after deletion (logs/backups, dispute handling).

Learning & certification records: typically 5–7 years to verify credentials, unless deletion is legally/contractually permissible and requested.

Usage/diagnostic logs: 12–18 months.

Support tickets: 24 months after closure.

Marketing data: until you unsubscribe; suppression lists retained to honor opt-outs.
We may retain de-identified/aggregated data indefinitely.

 

9) Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the risks involved, including TLS encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege management, audit logging, and vendor due diligence. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure.

11) Children’s privacy

The Services are intended for individuals 16+ (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without appropriate consent. Contact us if you believe a child has provided data.

 

12) Community features & user content

If forums/comments are enabled, content you post (and your profile) may be visible to others. Do not share confidential or sensitive information in public areas.

13) Exams, identity checks & proctoring (if applicable)

For certain certifications, we may require:

Identity verification: ID document images and live face photo (for match).

Proctoring: live or recorded audio/video, screen monitoring, environment scans, and event logs to detect misconduct.
We will disclose requirements in advance and collect such information only with notice and consent.

 

14) Payment processing

Payments are handled by third-party processors. They receive the information needed to process transactions and are responsible for PCI compliance. We do not store full card details.

 

15) Third-party links & integrations

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party SDKs (e.g., analytics, video, SSO). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Review those policies before using their services.

 

16) Automated decision-making & profiling

We may use limited automation to recommend content or route support. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated means without human review.
